EcoVadis has created a globally accessible platform for assessing companies against CSR criteria, with over 85,000 companies currently registered. Based on an industry-specific questionnaire, we looked closely at the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. To this end, EcoVadis has developed a comprehensive questionnaire covering not only economic, but also social, environmental and ethical issues. The results are then summarised by EcoVadis in a rating. We are very proud that we immediately achieved bronze medal status! This means that we scored better than half of the companies in our sector. For our customers, the rating means that they can rely on Grüning + Loske’s CSR performance. However, the rating does not only show the current status of our sustainability efforts! Very valuable is the detailed evaluation of our documentation, which shows us exactly where we can improve. Here we can address specific points in the company’s CSR management. We are already on our way to the re-scoring in a year’s time and are excited to see what else can be achieved. It is only through the efforts of society as a whole on a global scale that it will be possible to preserve an environment worth living in for everyone.
