Hose testing

Hose assemblies are subject to special requirements as they are sometimes subjected to extreme stresses due to the operating conditions, the media being conveyed, the operating pressure and external influences of a mechanical or chemical nature.

In order to minimise the risks associated with the hose assemblies in use, it is essential that they are regularly inspected to ensure that they are fit for purpose. In fact, periodic testing is required by law. As an operator, you are responsible for ensuring that work equipment is regularly checked for safe provision and use. The type of inspection and the inspection intervals must be defined and documented in accordance with BetrSichV.

Testing in accordance with PED 2014/68/EU

Grüning & Loske tests your hose lines in accordance with the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU.

After the test, each hose line is given its own hose line number for identification purposes, which is permanently attached to the line using labelling tape. We will issue you with a test certificate after testing the hose line. We also document all the tests we carry out and can call up your master and test data at any time via the assigned line number. Our mobile testing unit enables us to test your hose lines directly on your premises without any major inconvenience.
